Large cylindrical wooden jar with lid. Designed using the Taracea method and inspired by the Mosaics of the Alhambra of Granada. 11x11cm.
Taracea is a traditional technique that is based on the refurbishment and recreation of pavings, walls, furniture and sculptures. The method was originally called inlay or incrustation but now goes by the more globally known name of Taracea. The combination of different types, blends and the material of stones results in a Mosaic like pattern, which is what Granada and The Alhambra are known for therefore making these items the perfect souvenirs to take home with you.
