Created by artists and craftsmen from Granada, we present this magnificent Nasrid heraldic piece, made with pure lazurite (micronised lapis lazuli) using the egg tempera technique. The gilding is carried out following the method used during the Nasrid period, always applying 24-carat gold leaf
These exquisite plasterwork items, inspired by the Alhambra, are characterised by being handcrafted by master artisans from Granada. Their delicate and captivating technique can be appreciated in the accompanying photographs.
These reproductions are intentionally distinct from the original works found in the Alhambra. The aim is to create new designs that evoke the style of those historic pieces, rather than replicate them. In doing so, the authenticity of the originals is respected, while introducing fresh motifs that allow visitors to experience the essence of the Alhambra without being there.
