Crafted by artists and craftsmen from Granada, we present this magnificent framed piece, made with pure lazurite (micronized lapis lazuli) using the egg tempera technique. The gilding is done with the method used in the Nasrid era, always using 24-carat gold leaf. The framing is made with natural woods, polished with pure beeswax to give a delicate touch to each of our wooden pieces
These beautiful plasterwork pieces, inspired by the Alhambra, are characterized by being handcrafted by master artisans from Granada. Their delicate and fascinating technique can be appreciated in the attached photographs.
The reproduction of these pieces deviates significantly from the original works found in the Alhambra, as the goal is to create new designs that evoke the artwork present there. In this way, the falsification of any plasterwork piece is avoided, and new motifs are introduced that allow the visitor to feel the essence of the Alhambra without actually being there.
The manual and individualized refinement of these pieces can generate variation within the same model.
