Al-Yarrar Ceramic plate with Andalusí design - 31cm

These ceramic pieces are known for being made in Granada by the best master craftsmen who specialise in this design. They are most recognisable by their three colours which allow us to travel back to the Al-Ándalus time period with their policromia floral and geometric designs, also known as Andalusí (from the XIV-XV centuries) or Nazarí (from the XIV-XV centuries) with their iconic metallic refelction techniques. 

Every piece has at least 2 rounds of Kiln firing, many hace up to 3 to achieve the desired style. 

The fact that every piece is made with a traditional potter´s wheel instead of a mold, makes each piece unique and irreplaceable. Due to this, each piece has a distinctive colouring and shape.
